Today I only have 1 outfit instead of 2 as I got home intending to take the last of my 30 for 30 outfit shots, only to find that someone (naming no names!!) had run the camera battery flat and hadn't plugged it into charge!! Hmmm!!
So I can only bring you Day 25
Made up of: 13+19+29
13. Dorothy Perkins
19. F+F Tesco
Pieces Scarf from swap with Krystal
My hair looks so dark in this photo for some reason but it's really not that dark.
I thought the simple girly skirt worked well with the more edgy leather jacket. And of course my trust B&W shoes! lol!
I just had to show you these fun vase and bottles! You all know I love daisies! All from GreenCycleDesigns on Etsy.
I'm feeling a DIY coming on!
Please follow my Day Zero Progress on my Day Zero blog. I'm currently working on the 5000 question survey, so if you wanna get to know me a bit better, I shall be spilling all over there.
Oh and a bit of XFactor for you all. Im loving this little lady!

We're on a roll now. Here is Day's 23 and 24.
Outfit made up of: 15+20+28
20. Tommy Hilfiger
Matalan Black Belt
Swap Beads from Bethan
Black+Silver Necklaces (worn as bracelets)
Bit of layering here. I wore my denim skirt high on my waist and over my pop dress.
Day 24 is a slightly more flirty outfit, again with layering!
Outfit made up of: 12+14+29
12. Fashion Union
12. Dorothy Perkins
Black+Silver bead necklaces (as bracelets)
This time I layered my Fashion Union floral cardigan over my Dorothy Perkins lace and strip dress. I liked how the B&W lace floral pattern worked with the coloured floral top.
I don't really have anything else inspiring to say today. Just feeling a bit blah with my slightly dull everyday life and working in the pub (hopefully I'll get outta here soon!).
Anyway me and Jon went off taking photos of waterfalls yesterday and Jon has put a few up on his blog, go check them out please!

Ok Day 21 and 22 for you all. First a flirty and girly outfit and then a more sporty (as sporty as I get!) one.
Outfit made up of: 12+19+26
12. Fashion Union
19. F+F Tesco
26. George at ASDA
3 Vintage Pearl nacklaces
1 Pearl necklace gift from my aunty
If it was a warm summer I would have worn this outfit without the tights but sadly this summer has been a bit crappy and wet, so tights all the way!
Outfit made up of: 8+25+30
30. J by Jasper Conran
Swapped Glittery Socks from Bethan
Sunglasses left in Pub! (lucky me!)
These glasses have a great silver pattern etched into the sides! They are really nice and they lay unclaimed in work for a week so I nabbed them! hehe!
So Im almost there now. Its about time I finished this challenge really.
So I have my mew challenge Day Zero. I talked about it a few posts ago but I have finally set up a little blog which I shall use to charter my progress on the challenge. You can see it here. Hopefully this will spur me on to keep going with the challenge and complete all 101 tasks. I've done 4 already and have started working on quite a few others.

So I thought it was about time I got round to finishing my 30 for 30 challenge. I finished all the outfits ages ago, just hadn't yet got round to taking photos and posting them. So here are Day 19 and Day 20. I'll be posting double days now until I finish.
Outfit made up of: 7+11+25+30
7. Florence and Fred at Tesco
11. Pink Soda
30. J by Jasper Conran
Leopard Print Scarf (as belt)
This is my new favourite hair do! Lots of people in work and customers think I look cute like this.
I've been wearing this look quite a lot but with different tights. Its really easy to throw on and always looks nice.
Outfit made up of: 1+13+20+28
1. Sans Souchi
13. Dorothy Perkins
20. Tommy Hilfiger
Random Black Tights
Primark Blur Feather Hairclip
This top actually turned out to be a bit of a challenge. Its not so easy to match up with stuff due to its length. Its kinda tunic length. It doesn't look right layered over a skirt and is a bit to long over shorts, but I think I managed to work it tucked in and covered by the jacket in this outfit. As long as I don't wanna take the jacket off! lol!
So thats Day 19 and 20 done just 10 more to go!

Here is the very simple tutorial I promised yesterday. How to turn a vintage dress into a cute skirt.
Hope you enjoy and I look forward to seeing your creations.
If you do use this tutorial please link back to me and leave a comment here so I can see all your wonderful creations.

As the title says this is going to be a bit of a higgledy piggledy post. Have lots of little things to say so thought I would put them all in one post instead of dragging them out all week. I have 7 things to say (I think!)
1. I turned this rather unshapely vintage dress into...
This cute skirt! I shall post a proper tutorial on how to do it at a later date.
2. My wonderfully hubby, Jon is now a member of the blogging world too! Find his blog here! He is slowly becoming a semi professional photographer so thought it would be a good way to show case his work. At the mo he specialises in Live Music and Me (don't think I'm very profitable though, lol) Please go check out his stuff!
3. I recently did a swap with Krystal from Village. Her parcel turned up yesterday and I loved it all so would like to say thanks to her for everything she sent! Its awesome!!
Stunning Scarf, Earrings and Necklace from Pieces
A knitted tank from Zebra
Boyfriend Shirt from H&M
Bow Tank from Fishbone
Plus a cute vintage esqu postcard
4. I am part of the Oh, My Darling, Dear Darlings Penpal exchange and a few weeks ago I did a post on daisy inspired stationary from Etsy. One of the shops I featured was Exquisite Inks and the lovely owner offered to send me some of the cards I liked for free!! So I would like to thank the lovely Amanda for her kind gesture and show you all the amazing cards she made me. Look their personalised with my blog name too!!
So that said I have just sent these to my lovely new penpals. I also recieved all 3 of my first penpal letters. Aren't they all fun! So thank you girls!
5. I have finally finished my Day Zero list. It took me a few weeks to compile it all. Day Zero is a life challenge. You set yourself 101 tasks to complete in 1001 days. I have completed 1 challenge already by seeing a shooting star during the meteor shower last week. Ok so the picture doesn't show many shooting stars but if you can just see the little line going off the bottom of the shot on the left, that is infact a shooting star! lol. I saw 5 or 6 in total and I wished on them all, hehe.
The next challenge I am starting to tackle is the 20 new recommended books. So ladies recommend away, what is your favourite book that you think I should read?
6. As we are on the topic of books I have just joined a book exchange! Yeah, I love reading so much so this will be fun. If you want to join just click here and sign up with Bethan.
7. This ones not so much fun. I haven't been feeling like blogging and taking outfit shots the last few days as I had to have my wisdom tooth pulled on Friday! It needed a little filling but the dentist said there wasn't any point as it wasn't a tooth I used, so she just pulled it instead! So I been in kinda a bit of aching pain and feeling sorry for myself quite alot!
Anyway that's all.
Please don't forget to Twitter 'Grow, Poppy! Grow! #CoachPoppy #daisydayz25 www.coach.com/poppyproject' to help my poppies grow. And keep checking for special prizes hidden in the flowers.

Ok so she isn't a fashionist as such, she isn't an actress or party girl, she isn't a designer or blogger, she doesn't work for Elle or Vogue but she is a Journalist! She is Hadley Freeman! Ok so being a qualified Journalist should mean I keep up to date with the newspapers and stuff but sadly I don't. So it was only last week that I found the genius Hadley Freeman. She writes an 'Ask me' section in the Guardian which is all about fashion related questions. I loved the piece I read last week (in a discarded paper in the pub!) on Brenton Tops and Playsuits. Oh her words of wisdom were so true to me, my ideas, my life and I suspect many true fashion bloggers.
I had put off doing this post as I had worried I would have to re-type her whole article myself! And that was just far too much effort but luckily I thought to check out the Guardian website and found that all her articles are available online! Yay!
So here is the piece that led me to her.
I apologise if this is a long wordy post, but I think I should share these kinda things!

Ahh day 18! Im getting there, slowly! This is the final remix of the H&M dress mini-remix. This time I took a tip from Michelle that she mentioned on a previous outfit post. She said I could wear the skirt belted and high on my waist, so I did! What do you think? This is obviously the most drastic change for the dress as it just looks like a top in this remix.
Outfit made up of 16+18+28
Aimi Boutique Pocket Watch Necklace
Internacionale Black Bow Ring
Photos were taken in an unused back stair case at the pub. Using Jons new flash! He is very happy with it so far, and has had lots of fun snapping away to practice.
Onto other things:
You may have noticed the poppy project flowers going on up there in the corner of my blog. Well Coach is giving away $2500 worth of coach items to whoevers poppy's bloom the most.

On to day 17 (I'm getting there slowly!) and its remix number 3 for the H&M dress. This is a slightly more feminine look I think. I wanted to add some colour to the dress as it is very simple and I think this worked best.
Outfit made up of 12+16+28
12. Fashion Union
28. Mustang via TKMaxx
Internacionale Owl Necklace
Internacionale Bow Ring
Jon had a good play with his new flash here as the sky had clouded up so it was kinda dark and these shutters were great for bouncing light.
My wonder women pose!
Some bright back lighting!!
Excuse the slightly messy hair the wind was really bad while we were doing these shots.
I really like the bright cardigan paired with the simpler blue dress and think this is probably my fav combo with this dress.
I always think of myself as a fairly colourful person but I am quite surprised at how few bright colours I choose for my 30 for 30 items, and it wasn't intentional! This cardigan is possibly the brightest piece I have in my selection.
On another note. Thanks lots to everyone who commented on my first vlog yesterday, I'm not feeling so conscious about my accent now you have all said you like it. lol. If you missed my vlog and wanna see what I'm on about click !
Don't forget to enter my giveaway here only 3 days left!!
That's all for now folks.

Another day another outfit!
Day 16 is the 2nd remix on the H&M dress.
Outfit made up of 10+16+27
Internacionale Bangles and ring
So onto other things:
I got given the Versatile Blogger award this week by Lucky Dame
This means I have to give you 7 facts about me and pass it onto 10 bloggers. I decided to do this a little differently to how I usually would and did it as a vlog post. Now Im not usually a fan of being in front of the camera so this is a first, and depending on how it is received it may well be a last. So here is you first glimpse of the real me. I am Welsh so I apologise for my accent although I don't think it really comes through much on the video.
So the bloggers were:
8. Francis Joy
Plus I forgot to say that this is my hair after being dyed. Its not a huge difference but it is a bit darker than what it was before!
So I hope you liked my first Vlog, if you would like me to do some more, or have something in specific you would like me to vlog on, just say in the comments and I shall try my best!
Bye for another day!
